Welcome to Appleton Computers new and exciting self help guide section, this will
give practical and simple advice to PC users on how to fix some of the commonly experienced problems and
get back up and running quickly and effectively. These guides will build on the 'staying safe' online
tips that was launched in 2006. We are publishing these guides which are based many years of
experience and in effort to help users get the most out of their computers, the internet and hopefully reduce
the number of frustrated users out there. You will notice adverts on the completed pages, these help
cover the costs of hosting this site and Appleton Computers in no way accept any responsibility for
the content or products offered by the Google Ads.

- Odds and Sods - this will be a repository of common problems come across in
real life with details of the fix, this particularly we would welcome input from users, this can done by
e-mailing us a specific request and we wil add it to the list.
- Changing Internet Service Providers and
how to setup Outlook Express when you change e-mail providers.
- End of Life Equipment Disposal Guide.
We plan to release guides at the
rate of one per week commencing 1st May 2007, if there is anything specifically you would like us to
cover then I am soory but this section is no longer being updated
